I've Been Tagged...

I have been taged on Tina's blog so this is the corresponding picture. (I really need to burn a picture CD!!)

This is what you have to do:
1. Go to the the 4th folder where you keep your pictures on your computer.

This is a picture from almost a year ago. Emma is just learning how to walk in this picture, using her walking toy. Aidan used to always try and "fix" it, pretending it was a car. (Too cute!!) Emma looks really cute in this picture, but I should tell you that she has turned into a little monster!! (Okay, she is in her terrible twos already!! And she is a girl. And her and I clash!!)

It is still really cold here. We are going grocery shopping and then hangin' out at my parents' house this afternoon. Jonathan is on team again tonight, so he will be at home alone this afternoon. He likes his alone time!!

Aidan goes for his 4 1/2 year shots tomorrow! I am apprehensive about it. He is not one for pain, so I know there will be tears and screaming. (He's a yeller!!) Anyway, I hope that he is brave. We have been talking about it and he is bringing his stuffed cow and a blankie or two.

Hope you are all having a good day and staying warm. Emma is calling me and telling me it is time to get up. I guess my quiet time is done!

A Saturday Blogthingy: Winter Hat

I slept in this morning! I know. I am trying to fight off this cold/nasal thing. It really hurts. Perhaps it is just dry, but I really needed my sleep this morning. So, I slept.

Jonathan is on team tonight at church, so we dropped him off after lunch. We will hang out at home until it is time to go to church.

It is freezing cold outside today. I don't like the cold. Luckily we installed a block heater in our car yesterday and replaced some tires. The block heater is amazing. I love it!!

Anyway, in light of our cold temperatures I thought I would find a interesting blogthing. I think it is pretty dead on, except for the style over comfort. I like being comfortable, but there are somethings I will not wear. (Like toques (winter hats)!) I refuse!! I would rather wrap a scarf around my head than wear a hat that mashes down my hair!! :-)

Tuesday Tunes 23: Colored Men

Things at the Grant house heard during the Inauguration:

1) "Mommy, look it's Rock Obama. Is this about him?"
"Yes, but his name is Barrack Obama."
"No Mama. It's Rock Obama"

2) Aidan: "Yeah, Obama!!"

3) Aidan: "Yeah, Canadians!!" - When told they were watching from Toronto.

4) Aidan: "Look, Mama, it's Toronto!"

5) Aidan: "Look Mama it's the White House!"

6) Aidan: "Mama, is it done yet? What happens at the end?" - After which he stopped watching.

I would just like to point out some obvious truths amongst all the hype:

1) He's just a man.

2) Regardless of skin color, he's just the next President.

3) He could be a horrible President. He hasn't been in office yet, so we don't know.

4) He's just a man....

Other than that, I think he has a way with speaking and words. He says a lot of words without being specific. We shall see what the real deal is soon. I will be praying for him and his family since the girls seem so young!!

Anyway, I know that today is supposed to be Tuesday Tunes. I am not going to show anything Obama related. Sorry.
