My Trip to Victoria

I thought I would blog about my trip to Victoria, since I haven't yet. First of all, the weather was gorgeous. Not too hot, but lots of sunshine. It was wonderful.

Our hotel was okay. Nothing too exciting, but perfect for us. We each had our own queen sized beds, which was lovely. (Although I never sleep well in a huge bed without my husband!!)

We did tons of walking and my legs are still telling me about it. We did some shopping, but taxes are so high there. Only souvenirs. Anything we could get here we walked away from. I bought myself some really nice vanilla tea. I haven't had any yet, but I think I will try it in milk - like a London Fog. (I had my first one of these in Victoria...It was delicious!!)

We toured the Royal Wax Museum and the Royal British Columbia museum. The second one was amazing. If you ever go there you definetly need to do this museum. It was one of the highlights of our trip, even though the exhibit we wanted to see was no longer there.

We also checked out the Rolling Stones in Concert... Well, at the IMAX they were showing them in concert, filmed by Martin Scorsese called "Shine a Light". I am not a big Rolling Stones fan, but I left with a greater appreciation of them and their musical abilities. Both Mick and Keith have wonderful voices, even though they do rock and roll - I never noticed before. It was a really good movie.

Our two day trip came to an end so quickly, but it was a lot of fun. It has taken me a few days to recover!! Ahh travelling. So much fun.
