Tonight, hubby is taking me out to see one of our favorite comedians: Jeremy Hotz. He is really funny. I will post a video at the end for you to watch. Should be a good evening.
Hope you all are having a good day. I am going to start a new blog, I think, about our walks to and from school. I think that will be most interesting. We'll see...

1. Why are you making baked goods when they only add to your hips? (She asks herself as she continues to bake and make more goodies...and eat them.
2. I want you to take a nice long shower this afternoon and get all nice and gussied up for my date with the hubby. I haven't done that for a long time.
3. I wish I was in charge of the Oscars then it will be on my terms. Then I would make sure they were a classy event, like they used to be 20 years ago.
4. Aidan is definitely going to a new school next year, so we shall wait and see what happens. I think it will be really good for him.
5. I could use a nap. I don't think that is going to happen today, though. Perhaps a little lounging on the couch with a coke would help??
6. I am going to finish this blog entry and then watch some design shows on TV. Yes, one of my favorite pastimes is watching the Home and Garden Network. (And I'm proud of it, too!)
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to goin' out and hangin' with grown-ups and laughing, tomorrow my plans include running around getting party supplies for Emma's party and then goin' to church and Sunday, I want to hang out with my parents and perhaps go to Jenny's Oscar party!
Whatever you do this weekend, I hope you enjoy it. Here's a little something to keep you smilin' while you do it. (Just a note: there are some curse words...)

I have seen that comic on televison before! I wonder how your evening went...?
One of my favorite things to do together with my husband is to see stand-up comedy, too. At clubs(Boston has some good ones) and in local theaters(we saw Jim Gaffigan recently--he is another brilliantly funny comic)
