Sorry I haven't been around all week. I fell and hurt my knee at the staff retreat this past weekend (more to come on the retreat in another post!). I have been trying to stay off it and have been icing it when I normally would be blogging. It is doing better, but I know I will need to ice it after walking to pick-up Aidan today.
Tomorrow I am off to Girl Guide camp. I am taking Emma with us. We are in a building and are taking the Sparks and the Brownies. It is a princess camp and it should be fantastic. I think we will all have a great time. Daddy and Aidan are going to have a guys weekend. I think they will both enjoy that, too!
Anyway, I have lots of things to do before then, so I just thought I would update you and let you know I am still allive. I am going to change my blog again. This time I think I will pick something that I can leave for awhile. So, if you come back and it is changed, you know why.

Was wondering where you were(thought maybe DisneyLand already)--sorry to hear about the mishap.
Have you been watching the Olympics while icing that knee? Canadians should be very proud with all the medals won by their teams!! I just checked the chart today(even though I have not really been able to watch many events since last week when I overdosed on men's skating and curling and had to take a break) and US and Germany and Canada sure are winning many medals, aren't they??!!
Not that is the ONLY thing, of course. The story of Rochette and her amazing ability to skate that way the other night, after what she has gone through--even if she doesn't medal--she is a true Olympian in my eyes. I almost can't bear to even watch the skating now--too emotional for me.
Joannie is amazing. And she won bronze. I don't think anyone cared about anyone else winning last night. They could have cheered for Joannie forever!
