I have a lot to write about the Infusion Conference I went to, but I will save that for another blog. Hopefully when I am feeling better. Right now the couch is calling. I will heed it. I did not sleep very well last night. I am exhausted.
Since it is the Sesame Street 40th anniversary, I thought I would share a couple of videos. I grew up watching Sesame Street. My kids also love to watch it. Thanks to Sesame Street we also have TreeHouse. This wouldn't have happened if not for that first show. (I also did a paper on Sesame Street for one of my classes in University!)
The first one is "Sing". I remember watching this one time when they had a flute player on. I fell in love with that instrument. It was the reason why I wanted to play the flute in junior high, which I did. Anyway, here is a montage of celebrities singing...
The other song I wanted to share was this one that is much newer. I used it for one of my home-made picture slideshows/videos. I just think it is so sweet and makes me cry everytime I hear it.
What are some of your favorite songs from this wonderful show? I would love you to share them with me. I will also try putting up some more classic Sesame Street as the month goes on!!

Sesame Street was the first face-paced show for kids. That's the one criticism of it = that it was too fast. The characters were lovable and were ones most of us could identify with. Hanson was a genius.
That "Sing" medly was so fun...with Conan O' Brien and Fran Drescher!
I am thinking I am going to have to do a Sesame Street themed blog now, too. :-) I always loved the older stuff, because..well, I'm older. ;-) The "In YOur Neighborhood Song", the "Happy Birthday Song"(with Oscar singing the line "I wish for you a broken toy...Happy Birthday.."), Bert singing "La..la...linoleum", the groovy "Mah Nah Nah" song...good stuff.
I like that new photo--Sesame Street characters-you have up top now, too.
