Top Ten Fridays: Things to Look Forward to in 2009

This is the view of the trees across our road and the very busy 16th Avenue!!

This is the tree outside our neighbor's front door! Very pretty!
Top Ten Things to Look Forward to in 2009:

10) The end of driving to the NW 3 times a week for Preschool... at least for a year!

9) Aidan starting Kindergarten...YIKES!!

8) Potty Training Session #2

7) The unexpected surprises...the things that you don't plan for, good or bad. This makes life...interesting!

6) My parents being home... not running off to Ontario all the time.

5) Getting to know new people...in our small group, at a playgroup in our community next September, in Aidan's new sphere of influence once he is in Kindergarten...

4) Working in Promiseland...doing puppets, worship and helping out in Aidan's room.

3) Doing something different next year...I really feel like God is leading me to go out on a limb and do something different next year. (at church, for sure) He has given me a few ideas. I will keep you posted.

2) My in-laws coming out to visit in June! It will be nice to see them again, and hopefully the flying will cut down on the tiredness from driving!!

1) Our 10th Anniversary...A trip (hopefully) &/or renewing our vows...Something to mark this very special occasion!
------------------

That's my list....I am sure there are more, but most of those will fall under the "unexpected surprise" category. What are you looking forward to this coming year?

Whatever it is, I hope that it is a good year for you all!

I am looking forward to our June trip too and Aunt Doreen is very excited already. I am glad she suggested this trip especially since our trip to Britain has fallen through.

Your pictures of your neighbourhood trees are very pretty but I want that one to have leaves when we get out there!

I am hoping my life is a little more exciting this year, but the "good" kind of excitement. I think it is ME who has to make my life exciting--sort of like you feeling you need to go out "on a limb" and do something different.
I have also been looking over volunteering possibilities. While I donate money to certain charities, I am thinking I could donate some "time" and help , as well.
I noticed your "Amanda" worlde on the top right. :-)
