An Extra Edition Today....

I am sick, so I am not doing too much. I am sitting around in my pjs, sweating out my cold and drinking coffee. I slept horribly last night because my throat was sooo scratchy. I have been taking my Cold FX and trying to stay warm. It is hard to be sick with children because they do not understand.

It is my 30th birthday on Dec. 21. I am not sure what I think about turning 30, but I do want to celebrate it in some way. Not the usual way. It would be nice to do something a little bit different. Maybe a Karaoke party or something. I think the 30th birthday is pretty mportant for men and women, but I think women feel it more. (Maybe I think that because I am a woman!!)

Anyway, the reason I am writing about it is that I am after suggestions. How did you celebrate your 30th birthday? (if you have) What would you do? I am pretty open to anything...within reason. I would love to hear your ideas and stories. Let me know.

I am so sorry you are sick. Not much fun at any time. I talked to your parents today. It was good to hear your dad back to his "old self"! They promised to visit in May. Hope the weather co-operates. :-)

Since I haven't turned 30, but Andy did last year, we'll tell his side... Don't think you'll want to do it... basically, he drove me to the hospital to start being induced to have Liam... Sept. 20, we celebrated it at Foothills, eating crappy cafeteria food... karaoke on the other hand sounds awesome lol... We've got American Idol Karaoke for the 360---so addictive!

It seems so many of my off-line and online friends are sick with nasty head colds right now. I hope you can get some rest and be on your way to feeling better very soon.
A karaoke party with hit songs from the decades past would be fun. Maybe a small reunion with school friends from the past?

Since I was on my honeymoon, when I turned 30(and lying on a warm Florida beach), that milestone birthday was a painless and happy turning point for me.
